Set Up Plan...

Camp Herring (member of Terminal City Village) will begin set up on Friday, pre-opening. Equipment will be carried in by members. It is likely that an early (pre Saturday) crew from other members of the Terminal City Village will arrive Weds to begin flagging and measuring the village, and to assist with our allied Terminal City camps and their layouts, as well as the layout for the Terminal City Complex -- after placers have confirmed location of course. The village is renting a porta-john units in Sparks, and is anticipated to be hauled in by a camp member on the first Saturday. The unit is planned to go into the shared common space and will have pumper access (see maps). Main structures will be set up on Saturday, with detailing on Sunday. No significant ground disturbance is anticipated- apart from heavy rebar staking... no pits. Minor ditching for safty of electric lines anticipated. A large evaporation pond will handle all grey water and shower run off needs, with appropriate piping! No heavy equipment will be used. No other significant set up issues are anticipated for this village.
